Together, the array is expected to generate approximately 5,997kWh of clean electricity every year.
Fox ESS H1 G2 Hybrid Inverter
The solar array is connected to a Fox ESS H1 G2 6.0kW Hybrid Inverter.
The inverter plays a crucial role within the system, converting the DC electricity generated by the solar panels into usable AC electricity for the home.
The system can be monitored through the Fox Cloud platform, giving the homeowner full visibility over their energy generation and usage.

Fox ESS EP12 Battery Storage
To maximise self-consumption, the homeowner also chose a Fox ESS EP12 battery storage system.
With 11.5kWh of storage capacity, the battery allows excess solar generation to be stored during the day and used later in the evening when solar production has reduced.
Battery storage systems increase the amount of solar electricity consumed within the property rather than exported back to the grid.
This leads to greater financial savings by replacing expensive imported electricity with electricity generated by the homeowner’s own solar panels.
